We guide fishing trips in beautiful Matagorda Bay, Texas, one of the best spots on the Gulf Coast for inshore fishing.

2. How many people can join a trip?


Our half-day trips are designed for 1–3 people, keeping the experience personal and enjoyable.

3. What does the trip include?

  • All rods, tackle, and gear (if needed)

  • Shoulder slings with rod holders, nets, and bait buckets for wading trips

  • Fish cleaning at the end of the trip

Note: You’ll purchase the bait separately.

4. What should I wear?


For wading trips, we recommend fishing pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and either a hooded shirt or brimmed hat for sun protection. Comfortable shoes or wading boots are also a good choice.

5. What time do trips start and end?


Half-day trips run from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, giving you the best of the morning bite.

6. Do you clean the fish we catch?


Yes! At the end of your trip, we’ll clean and prepare all your fish so they’re ready to take home and enjoy.

7. Can beginners join, or is this for experienced anglers only?


Everyone is welcome — from seasoned anglers to first-timers. Captain Joe will walk you through everything you need to know and make sure you have a great time on the water.
